Overview:
Barden’s Boat Yard in Marion will be launching keel boats from their boat yard Thursday and Hauling Sunday afternoon. Barden’s has offered a special discounted round trip BBR launch & haul fee of $150.00 shall be paid directly at Barden’s upon arrival of Boat. For Shields, the fee will be reimbursed by Fleet #10; contact Shields Fleet Captain (george.gardner3@gmail.com).
These discounted L&H rates only apply Thursday afternoon until 1800 and hauling Sunday from 1300 to 1800. All launching and hauling outside these posted times will require arrangements be made directly with the boat owners and Barden’s Boat Yard. Phone.508-748-0250
Drop-Off and Launch Procedure:
Vehicles towing boats will arrive at Barden’s and drop off boats on trailers in the Island Wharf Field, unhitch and immediately leave for parking in designated areas. (See Parking Plan). The boats may be rigged in the field, Barden’s will move all boats on trailers from Island Wharf field for launching. After launch, Barden’s will move all trailers back to the field for storage. After launching all boats must leave the travel lift area floats and proceed to assigned moorings.
Hauling Procedure:
Hauling on Sunday will be the reverse of launch. Boats will arrive at Barden’s and will be hauled. Boats will be returned to trailers for derigging and brought back to Island Wharf Field. Vehicles are asked not to return to the field until derigging is complete and boats are ready to leave.

Burr Brothers Boatyard in Marion will be hosting launching of all coach boats from their boat yard from Thursday and Hauling Sunday afternoon until . A Launch and Haul will be free of charge which includes the use of locked storage of Coach boat trailers in their Route 6 Yard. (Trailers may not be left at the boatyard itself) Special launch/haul arrangements may be made by contacting Burr Brothers directly at (508)748-0541, any fees shall be the responsibility of the boat owner.
PLEASE NOTE: Only Marion Residents may use the town launching ramp.
