Mooring Information

Moorings for BBR are available through the Beverly Yacht Club (BYC), or visiting captains may elect to make other arrangements with the local Boatyards. The harbor-wide mooring fee is $40/boat/night which can be pre-paid online during registration, or separate arrangements may be made through the local boatyards (information below). Mooring assignments for all visiting race boats will be available at the registration desk, launch/haul, and aboard the BYC launches. Please note that some boats, especially one-design boats, may be asked to raft.

PHRF & Multihull Classes

A boat arriving in Marion via water (see directions) should contact the BYC launch on Channel 68 when approaching Ram Island. Please identify your boat name, length overall and draft. The BYC launch will assign an appropriate mooring at that time. If you have chosen to make other arrangements with the local boatyards, please contact them for your mooring assignment.

One-Design Classes

The local Beverly Yacht Club One-Design Fleets have graciously sponsored moorings for their visiting classes (J/22, J/24, J/80, Shields, & Bullseyes) and a mooring will be assigned upon arrival in Marion for each registered one-design for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at no cost. For boats arriving on trailers, mooring information may be obtained at Launch/Haul or at the Registration Desk. Please follow the instructions above for contacting the BYC launch if arriving by water.

Coach/Spectator Boats

If you are planning to bring a coach or spectator boat to the event, please contact one of the local boatyards to make a mooring arrangement for your vessel (note that the harbor-wide $40/night fee will apply). Due to the limited amount of moorings available in the harbor, the BYC moorings are reserved for the visiting race boats, and there will be no dock space available for coach boats.
