Please indicate your request for a mooring on the registration form. While mooring reservations are not accepted in advance of the regatta, please be assured that we have always been able to accommodate all mooring requests during previous Buzzards Bay Regattas. Moorings are assigned on a first come/first served basis through the BYC launch. Some boats, especially one-design boats, may be asked to raft.
A boat arriving in Marion should contact the Beverly Yacht Club (BYC) launch on Channel 68 when approaching Ram Island. Please identify your boat name, length overall and draft. The BYC launch will assign an appropriate mooring at that time. In addition to BYC moorings, we will have an inventory of available town and private moorings. We will also know availability of Burr Brothers Boatyard moorings. The mooring fee is $40/night for each boat on the mooring.
For your convenience the BYC launch will operate on an extended schedule during BBR. This schedule will be posted soon.
