Frequently asked questions at NBYC venue.
Do I have to check in? Yes. All competitors must check in at New Bedford Yacht Club from 1600-2100 hrs. Thursday, Aug. 1, and 730-1000 hrs. August 2 and 3. You may
park at NBYC to do this.
Where do I park? Go to the home page of buzzardsbayregatta.com and click the NBYC event tab. Then click on parking information where there is a detailed description.
Where do I launch? Go to the home page of buzzardsbayregatta.com and click the NBYC event tab. Then click on hauling/launching plan where there is a detailed description.
What are shuttle hours? Go to the home page of buzzardsbayregatta.com and click the NBYC event tab. Then click on parking information where there is a detailed description.
When/where are Skippers briefings? Each day at 8:30 AM under the tent.
How do I get to and from my moored boat? Take the launch at NBYC. There is no charge.
How do I remedy a registration issue? Easiest way is at check-in.
What if I have an injury or medical issue? Call the Dartmouth Harbormaster on Channel 16.
Where do I buy food and beverage tickets? All competitors will need to get an ID bracelet at NBYC to purchase drinks. You can buy daily food bracelets at NBYC or buy a food bracelet for the event.
Where can I fill my water bottle? All competitors may fill their bottles at NBYC prior to leaving the dock.
Is there a way to view the racing? There will be a press boat/spectator boat to watch the racing. Appointments can be made on a first come first serve basis by e-mailing email@example.com
